Happy Birthday!!!I turned 50 (!) on January 25, 2005... On January 29th, in celebration of the milestone (?) I ran the Miami Tropical Marathon. I did OK through the first 22 miles keeping on my target pace, then somewhere around mile 23 my legs seriously gave out... So for the last 3 miles, I fought cramping and weekness to cross the finish line in one piece but about 20 minutes off the pace I kept up 90% of the way... ANYWAY... I finished... and what did YOU do for your birthday this year???!!! |
