You notice a dusty book on the table that wasn't there when you first entered. You wonder where it came from. You pick up the book out of curiosity. It looks like it's more than a 1000 years old! Do you dare open it ?

What is SailorMoon?
SailorMoon is a story written by
lady named Naoko Takeuchi. The story revolves around a group of teenage girls in short
school uniforms between the ages of 14 & 19 who are fighting an evil force, called the
Dark Kingdom, who are trying to take over the universe. The main character being a sweet
but ditzy girl named Usagi Tsukino, who is in fact Sailor Moon herself. As the story
progresses, the girls encounter love, death, happieness and sadness. Who could resist
that?
The History of SailorMoon
In the August of
1991 Naoko Takeuchi debuted a manga story called Sailor V, a story about a suited teenage
girl super-hero. A half of a year later, Naoko created a new story, featured in the
Japanese magazine 'Nakayoshi', called Sailor Moon. Now it was a group of girls including the original character, Sailor V. The only
diference now is that a character named Usagi Tsukino,Sailor Moon, was the main character.
In 1993, Naoko won the 17th Kondansha Manga Award for Sailor Moon. Soon after Sailor Moon
was debuted, it was turned into an anime. In 1995, a company named DIC got the rights to
show 65 dubbed episodes of the show, creating an even larger amount of fans. In 1997, the
company Mixx Entertainment got the rights to feature an english manga of Sailor Moon
alongside 3 other manga stories.In 1997, the japanese anime ended with 200 episodes total
and 18 volumes of manga. Along with 3 movies, live-action shows, tons of merchandise,
& lots, lots, more.
