J.D. & Mary Bales in the 40's

This photo has 'JD & Tucker' written on the back of it... They look like they're taking a load off and soaking up some sun!

Not sure about the date but it is contemporary with the rest of the pictures on this page.

These two pictures would be from 1940...

Both of these photos are taken on the front stoop of the apartment that they had in San Franscisco while my Father went to UC Berkeley. This would date these from around 1941. (Love the bobbie socks!)

Both of these pictures are from later in the 40's (the one on the left was dated 1947).
