Group Photos

Ethel and BF Bales are on the far right in both of these pictures. I'm not sure who the rest of these people are although one of these pictures has 'Davis' written on the back of it (along with 'Extreme right - Ben & Ethel'), so I'm assuming that the kid with hooded coat must be Davis Bales. This would date this picture sometime around 1910 or 1912 (approximately).

It's the same group of people in both photographs... Both photos are printed on Post Card stock and the lower photo is addressed to:

Mrs. J.M. Burris
Worthington, Ind.

It obviously was never mailed but it might give some clue as to who the other family is...

This is detail from the picture above. Some things never change. This little kid with her Teddy Bear is so cute... The sobering thought is that if this kid might possibly still be alive that she would 90+ years old...

This photo has 'Ethel Davis - Teacher' written on the back of it... This would date this picture prior to 1906. And we think the student / teacher ratio is bad today!...
