| Over the past few years I've been able to spend quite a bit of time in Latin
America. The following pages have some of my favorite photos and some brief
descriptions... Most of these pictures are the result of a photo 'assignment' I gave
myself: For several years I carried a less-than-$20 camera around in my briefcase.
(I wanted to always have a camera handy but if something happened to it it wouldn't
matter.) So, the 'assignment' was to capture the best pictures possible independent of the
equipment - that is, no control over exposure, no zoom, etc. These pages are a sampling of
the result. This is version 3.0 for this part of the site (or maybe it's 4.0) and hopefully it's significantly more viewer friendly - pages broken out, bigger clearer pictures (and smaller file sizes!)...
