Over the past few years I've been able to spend quite a bit of time in Latin America.  The following pages have some of my favorite photos and some brief descriptions...  Most of these pictures are the result of a photo 'assignment' I gave myself:  For several years I carried a less-than-$20 camera around in my briefcase. (I wanted to always have a camera handy but if something happened to it it wouldn't matter.) So, the 'assignment' was to capture the best pictures possible independent of the equipment - that is, no control over exposure, no zoom, etc. These pages are a sampling of the result.

This is version 3.0 for this part of the site (or maybe it's 4.0) and hopefully it's significantly more viewer friendly - pages broken out, bigger clearer pictures (and smaller file sizes!)... From here you can jump directly to the page you want, or you can start here and page through from start to finish.
