| Every February the whole country of Brazil turns into a giant party. In the days
leading up to Carnaval work begins to grind to a halt, with most companies taking off at
least the Tuesday (Fat Tuesday) of Carnaval if not Monday as well.
And... most companies don't expect their workers to show up on the following
Wednesday until noon (if at all). These pictures are from the Carnaval in Sao Paulo
(I haven't been to Carnaval in Rio... yet!). |
