I don't have a lot of pictures yet, but there are a lot of things in the area that I want to do so I expect to have more fodder for these pages over time. Within the state are the highest waterfalls in North America, the ruins at Paquime, and of course, Copper Canyon. << This is the facade of a turn of the century mansion that has been converted into an art museum. |
Within Chihuahua, there are some points of interest, the Cathedral (pictured below) is a local landmark and an impressive piece of architecture. The home of Pancho Villa is also here and is a museum. But, by most accounts, Chihuahua as a tourist destination mainly serves as the start point for travel into the outlying country. Here you may board the famous Chihuahua al Pacifico train which travels a spectacular route through Copper Canyon to the west coast port of Los Mochis. |
